Financial aid and course registration updates

Join financial aid and registrar staff for an overview of the Course Program of Study, a federal financial aid requirement that impacts student eligibility for funding. CPOS ensures that financial aid is only applied to courses that count toward a student’s officially declared degree or certificate program. Understanding this policy helps advisors, faculty, and staff better support students in maintaining financial aid eligibility and progressing toward graduation.

Each session will provide key information about CPOS, common challenges, and how staff and faculty can assist students. Drop in for the Q&A portion to get specific questions answered.

Session Options:

  • Thursday, Feb. 27  |  3–4:30 p.m.  |  Usibelli 301
  • Wednesday, March 5  |  11 a.m. – 1 p.m.  |  via Zoom
    • Drop-in Q&A during the second hour
  • Friday, March 7  |  1–3 p.m.  |  Usibelli 301

We encourage all faculty and staff who support students to attend. Your participation will help ensure students receive the financial aid they are eligible for while staying on track for graduation. If you are unable to attend any of the above sessions, you can request additional presentations for your unit.
