Rabbits/Cavies Project

The 4-H Rabbits/Cavies Project provide youth fun and hands-on learning experiences that develop life skills, as well as teaches valuable information about properly caring for their animals. 4-H Rabbit and Cavy Projects are similar, in that subjects such as such as general care, nutrition, housing, and health care are presented in the curricular materials. Youth also have the opportunity to prepare an exhibit for showing at the state fairs. Youth have the opportunity to develop responsibility, decision-making, nurturing, and communication skills through active participation in the 4-H Rabbit and Cavy Projects.
