Dimitris Paganos Koukakis
Dr. Dimitris Paganos Koukakis is a pianist, educator, and interdisciplinary artist specializing in contemporary music, improvisation, and performance integration with other art forms. A graduate of Ionian University, he earned his Master of Music at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and his Doctor of Musical Arts at UC San Diego. His artistic work explores piano and electronics, as well as music and dance collaborations, including his co-created performance Ithaca. Now based in Athens, Greece, he teaches piano and actively contributes to the contemporary music scene, performing with ensembles like the Greek Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Ricky Lind, Jr.
Ricky Lind, Jr., a 2007 graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Education, has built a career combining his passion for music, arts, and youth engagement. As a fine arts teacher, he taught elementary music, middle/high school choir, and band, spending six years in his hometown, Dillingham, Alaska, where he navigated four different principals. Inspired by these experiences, Ricky earned a School Principal Certification from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2015. He then taught at various public schools in Anchorage, broadening his impact in education. In May 2024, Ricky transitioned to an Anchorage-based non-profit focusing on Native Community wellness. In his current role, he supervises interns aged 14-19, guiding them toward careers in health and administration, merging his dedication to education and community wellness.

Cicely 鈥淰anessa鈥 Cox
Cicely 鈥淰anessa鈥 Cox, a 2008 and 2009 graduate with degrees in Music and Music Education, has had a diverse career in both music education and performance. She taught choir, drama, and musical theater while later transitioning to teach history and E.S.L. Her love for music continued alongside her military family life, performing with various choirs and theater groups. Inspired by her experiences with students facing legal challenges, she pursued a law degree, graduating in 2024 from FAMU. She now works as a staff attorney with The Legal Aid Society, advocating for minors in court.

Heather Waters is an Associate Professor of Music Education and Chair of the Music Department at Adelphi University. She holds a PhD in music education from Temple University, as well as degrees in piano performance and music education. She has extensive training in various music education methods, including Orff-Schulwerk, Kod谩ly, and Dalcroze. Heather has taught at several institutions, including Adelphi University and New York University, and served in leadership roles for national music education organizations.
