Denakkanaaga, in partnership with the University of Alaska, holds “Elders Mentoring Elders” camps teaching Athabascan traditions to those 50 and older. Funded by the Center for Indigenous Innovation and Health Equity, the camps aim to preserve and pass on Native ways.
