Purpose: Donations to the Veterinary Medicine Department Support fund are used to help support our students through a number of avenues. Most notably, the funds have gone toward travel awards, event support, and supply costs. Funds are typically spent at the discretion of the department, but if you wish to support a particular aspect of the program, you can specify that on the donation page.
Purpose: To provide financial resources to first and second year Veterinary Medicine students to attend programs/training/seminars, etc. while attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Expenditures may include, but are not limited to: travel expenses, registration costs, and lodging.
Purpose: To provide support for a fellowship for second-year Veterinary Medicine students who are selected to be peer-instructors of first-year Veterinary Medicine students at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Purpose: The "Catt" Caroline Shanahan Hill Scholarship provides scholarships for students pursuing a career in the veterinary field who have animals' interests at heart.
Requirements:
Must be an Alaskan resident
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Demonstrate financial need
Purpose: The Cole Family and Aurora Animal Clinic Scholarship provides three annual scholarships for full-time students at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The scholarships will be divided as follows: two scholarships for Veterinary Medicine students and one scholarship for a UAF Men's Ice Hockey student.

Purpose: The Dr. Val D Stuve Endowed Scholarship for Veterinary Medicine honors the many and considerable contributions of Val D. Stuve, DVM to the advancement of Veterinary Medicine and the improvement in the quality of animal health care in Alaska, and provides scholarships to veterinary students at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
